Two Tigers and a Waterhole

There was two tigers having a conversation about a pond, because the forest was getting smaller and smaller from people cutting down trees. So the tigers have nowhere to go or to hunt. There was nothing to eat.

Tiger 1 said" Hey, that's my pond you have to go somewhere else to drink." Tiger 1 keeps roaring at Tiger 2. Until Tiger 2 said something.

Tiger 2 said " I don't care I've got nowhere to go, and the forest is getting smaller and smaller. This is the only place where I can go and drink." Tiger 2 just continue drinking.

Before all this happened, everything was going well the tigers had their own habitat to hunt and live. There was big animals like deer and wild boar. Who were also free tigers could hunt them.

But now everything was going bad, because people are building a city with space for farmers to grow plants and people cutting down trees and the tigers have nowhere to go. All the` tigers prey items have nowhere to live so the tigers can't hunt anything anymore. the tigers have to share a pond and a habitat together.

In the end the tigers died, because the people were cutting down trees and building lots of houses and farmlands. They're forced out from their habitat because the humans don't want them there.

There was a forest that started getting smaller, people were cutting down trees and destroying plants and animals.

One tiger was walking down to a little pond he sat down rested and drank the water from the pond, then the second tiger came crawling near the pond and the first tiger started getting angry and said "hey this is my pond go away I don't like you". The second tiger said "But from now on you have to share this pond or otherwise I will die! Because I won't have any food to eat and won't have any water to drink. Because of the human threat to our Jungle.

The first tiger started thinking about what the second tiger just said the he said "you can drink the water from the pond as long as you share it with me okay and they agreed.

Weeks past and the area got smaller and the tigers got a tiny area to hunt in and less food to eat.

They started to walk around the forest and hunt for food but all they found was cut down trees and broken plants.

When they saw all the plants cut down or broken they soon knew that they would die and left the forest for ever.

Later on they came to a desert which was so hot that they died on the journey to a new jungle that they never found.

Water whole thing

One day in the jungle there were lots and lots of animals and near that jungle there was a city that was making a lot of smoke, pollution and noise.

The animals started panicking. Before the humans came it was quiet and peaceful and not so dry also there was more water.It was nice having lots of water (because the water helps deer and other animals that tigers like to eat survive so the tigers get more food and can hunt well).

There were two tigers drinking from a little water hole and they were talking about the city and the humans.Tiger 1 was just ignoring tiger 2 tiger 1 was just drinking from the water hole and saying "we will be alright stop panicking just shut up and relax" tiger 2 said "how am I going to relax when we could be killed the other tigers have been shot and taken in big trucks".

Tiger 2 was screaming at tiger 1 tiger 2 was saying "The humans are coming"!

  

Tiger 2 and tiger l saw humans cutting down trees with a chainsaw. Tiger 2 kept saying to tiger l "come on run!" but it was too late they got shot!! They woke up in a zoo tiger l said "see were ok and we even get free food and a lot of running space too."Tiger 2 never liked the zoo and hated the humans looking at him he always tried to escape tiger l said "I love this new place and saw the other tigers."

In the natural forest there are a lot of animals, and space but the environment is being changed by people destroying the habitat.

The water hole

The watering hole has become a bad part of the habitat now, but they the animals gathered by a water hole to drink.

Before the humans started destroying their habitat the water was clean and good to drink.

No more water

A few days later all the animals were squished around the shrinking bush.Tigers were fighting for water. The first tiger says “go away this is my area”! But the second tiger replied “no this is my area you need to leave”!

The first tiger said to the second tiger “let’s have a race to the end and back to the water hole. They realised there was less trees because the humans have been cutting down the trees “we must travel to a new forest”! said the first tiger. They began to leave.

 The journey

They finally started the journey first they searched for a forest for one day and they found one far away from the old one. They started running towards the new forest. They ran so fast that people thought it was a tornado in the dust.

At last they arrived there and stayed there for the rest of the time and no humans came for now.

  The watering hole of the mighty tigers

One time in the deep dark watering hole two mighty tigers laid there drinking water. Tiger 1 who Joined the other roared as loud as he could.

They were in a city called Mumbai, India there wasn’t much water that they could drink to survive. They were thinking what would happen if somebody caught them?

Because they had heard all the machines working and the men calling in the distance. They would get killed some people will want to take their skins and make medicine out of it but that’s what tiger 1 thought.

To the tigers it sounded like the humans were always fighting each other, They could not hear anything but only the people trading money and laughing, shouting and the strange smells of their cooking.

The animals had their own problems now caused by the humans, now they were too busy fighting over food and space to live.

The Indian town was quite one day they were still drinking the water from the water hole. It was not deep anymore it was almost empty and would not last any longer unless they found more water. Their habitats are being destroyed and there little water hole was way too little and becoming muddy brown.

Many animals around them wanting water too. There were baby tigers frogs and chimps and all kinds of jungle animals gathered round. There were  these dry things out on the dessert part of India  and there was also dry grass all along the dessert the habitat had become dry.

All of a sudden Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 had, had enough of staying here, so when it hit dawn the tigers left the water hole in a rush. Their feet brang up heaps of dust finally reaching another part of asia that had better jungle and forests for them to live in. Thats where they had been thinking of going and they found this really nice place in the wild with heaps of space and water and food and then they started their life in asia and they lived there forever.

Introduction

Blue Tongue  Skinks Live In Australia And New Guinea.The habitats Are forests,grasslands,rainforests and Deserts. Blue Tounge Skinks eat snails,worms,fruit and flowers.

The babies only hatch from soft shelled eggs from inside its mother.

Protection

The Blue Tongue Skink sticks out it's tongue to protect itself from predators.

A blue-tongued skink spends most of the day searching for food. When a predator threatens a skink, the lizard puffs up its body to look bigger.

At the same time, it opens its mouth and hisses while sticking out its bright blue tongue. The lizard puffs up its body to look bigger. At the same time, it opens its mouth and hisses while sticking out its bright blue tongue. 

The sudden flash of colors may surprise and confuse the predator just long enough for the skink to run away.

I love cats!

Should cats get executed? No way! What would it be like if there were no cats in the world? I strongly believe that cats should remain in New Zealand and for people to have them in their homes.

Firstly, cats are peaceful animals for us. They are always quiet in the house and they never want to go and play outside. Cats just like to sit on your lap and watch T.V.

Secondly, cats are very cute because they always look at you with their big, fat, round eyes. They have a lot of fur that is very fluffy that also makes people fall in love with them.

Finally, some cats like to have nice quiet time with their owner/s and they love to hug them and roll all over them. Cats love to keep their owner/s nice and warm at night by snuggling up to them.

Therefore cats should not get executed from New Zealand because they are cute, fluffy, and peaceful. Could you imagine the world without cats?

We should have cats! By Thomas and Sam

We strongly believe cats should be allowed as pets in New Zealand. Some people may think cats are lame and some people will think that they are cool. We don't like them but we still want people to have them because some people like cats and it is unfair for them.  

Firstly we think Gareth Morgan is so silly because he thinks he can ban cats. But some of us think he can ban cats because they are just cats.  Cats may be harmful but they still have the right to be alive and live. Most people in New Zealand love cats. There is no point of taking all of the cats away just for a few people.   

Secondly we think cats should be allowed as pets because they can be a companion for a human.  Cats do not intend to hurt you. It because they think you are going to hurt them or they are scared because you are bigger  than them. thats why they scratch people  they  don't  mean to they just are

If  you  kill all cats in New zealand  they won't   be  able to be the  most  popular pets in New zealand. Then the dogs will be the most  popular pets in New Zealand.  Then you won't  believe  that cats were real  then we won't have memory  of cats and what is the point of  having cats if you just kill them. thats not fair for them to be extinct then they will get angry at you and scratch you.

Therefore I think that cat should stay in New Zealand. Some cats look very cute. Especially kittens they are very cute. They are even better than dogs. Because you can't let dogs off a leash. But sometimes cats come to other houses and will do poos. That is why cats should not be banned from New Zealand.

Cats!

I strongly believe that there should be no cats in New Zealand. Here are my reasons why they should be banned from New Zealand forever.

Firstly, I believe that cats are stupid and murder birds everywhere. It starts off when you get your fluffy cat. It is so cute and cuddly for the next few days. Then it brings in its first dead bird and is very proud of itself, you on the other hand scream  and are  very angry and chuck the murderer outside. That night he never comes back you get worried this can put pressure on you. That night he meows very loudly with the other cats.

Secondly they are stupid and not smart. I have a dog so you see  why I do not like cats. A cat lives across the road from  us and he hops onto the fence and tempts fate with my dog. This ends up with neighbours getting very grumpy because of the barking, the cat also tries to sneak into our house. Once we had a cat who just sat around and did poops everywhere. This was annoying, he never came outside just sat inside each day.  He also popped inside because he was too lazy to go outside.

Finally cats  can be very naughty when it comes to behaviour. They can look at mirrors and touch them ,they might fall over and break things. They can jump around and knock over pots and pieces.  Cats can also be wild and stalk you, this might be very frightening and could scare young children . Also cats can carry rabies this is a deadly disease that can be caught from an animal bite, cats are one of the animals.  

In conclusion I say we should ban all cats from New Zealand as they can be violent and naughty. New Zealand is the best cat lovers in the world so this might cause riots in the campaign in trying to get rid of all cats.
