Geometry Learning

Miss Campbell's maths groups have been learning about symmetry this week. We have been learning how to make symmetrical patterns out of 2D plane shapes.
We had a look at the sunflowers in our garden and some pictures of sunflowers from the internet.
We cut out different 2D shapes, for example triangles, circles and rectangles, to make our sunflowers. We learnt about the line of symmetry and had to make sure that our sunflower was identical on both sides if we had to fold it in half.
