WALHT: Solve division problems with remainders
Over the last few days, some of our learners have been learning to solve division problems by giving faction answers rather than remainders.
Some understood the concept quickly and moved on to stretch questions (like 1,852 divided by 12) and others built their knowledge using uni-link cubes. A group of learners was really in the pit at one stage but thanks to their determination and awesome connection-making, they've really advanced their thinking!

********** Who is this learner? ***********
His parent and I listened, we asked questions as we Built knowledge with our senses.
He introduced us to how he Built knowledge in maths, he found information in presentations, then showed us in concept how he Makes meaning by fleshing out ideas and considering options on how he will approach his current ideas.
He is currently considering in concept the following aspects that learners and teacher could benefit from if they were available to all:
- Stonefields school gymn
- Breakfast club
- School Mascot
Applying understanding comes naturally to this learner, he stands and recalls how he justified his position on why imprisonment for life is an unjust concept.
He demonstrates how he felt and that people should be forgiven after they have served their time.
But wait there was more.... He shared with us his writing and reading goals ........his excitement said it all.
The sky is the limit to his learning.

Hero 0.
Episode 1
Hero 0 helps people when they are trouble.
Hero 0 stops the bad guys messing things up.
Here comes the bad guys stomp,stomp,stomp.
The bad guys take the people.
Then all of a sudden Hero 0 saves the people.
The bad guy are angry and say i'll get you next time.
But then the bad guys start to run Hero 0 starts to run to.
Hero 0 is tired but he is not giving up because he wants to
save the people in his city.Hero 0 turns on his jetpack and flies
away.Hero 0 got away just in time.The people were screaming he
shot the bad guys.The people saw the blood on the road.Hero 0
laughed well he flew away.The people were happy.They loved
Hero 0 for the rest of their lives.
Episode 2
Hero 0 is at home watching TV.
The news reporter said "the bad guy we're not dead".
Hero 0 said "what how could this be possible".
Hero 0 was angry he wants to stop the bad guys.
The news reporter said "they were robots".
The news reporter said "the bad guys were on mars".
Hero 0 said that he was going to find the bad guys so he did.
Hero 0 went to mars with his suit on and jet pack.
Hero 0 saw a house on mars.

sometimes I read my writing and see if it is good or sometimes I forget to do it: one word that is a compound(And) : one word that is a complex(because)I could go to a lesson with mrs whaea nin.

Hi my name is Mugdha. I went to India on January 7 2015 and on 26 February it was my mom's brother's marriage. It was an Indian marriage. Time was from 11:00 am to 3:00am. I wasn't even one little bit sleepy. During the marriage the dinner was going on. My family and my mom's brother and his wife ate dinner last. But I ate a little bit earlier.
